My hope was that Hope For All might be helpful as a defense for our Hope as Peter urges: Always be prepared to give a reason for your hope. 1 Pet 3:15.
I wanted to provide a simple, one-size-fits-all reference that would achieve seven things.
- Be brief—so more people would read it.
- Be easy to grasp with simple language—so everyone understands it.
- Keep it simple, by placing supporting details in end notes.
- Make it authoritative, by providing extensive end notes for serious Bible students.
- Establish a solid foundation on ten major Biblical themes with abundant Scripture support.
- Format the text to function as a study-guide; which would also enhance skimming for quick review.
- Offer tentative answers to more than 40 pertinent questions.
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing . . . abounding in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Rom. 15:13
