    Thank you for your comment. I think I responded to you re. the Q cards. Thanks for the mention about your prayer article. I jotting this down for reading when I have a chance. Can I offer you a suggestion for your website? Please get rid of the black background. This is hard on the eyes and not conducive to a long time reading. I had to copy and paste in into a word document, which is an inconvenience to your audience. If you do a thorough web search, I think you will not find many people taking this approach for good reason. I share this only out of love because I would hate to see you lose viewers of such a minor thing.

  11. Wonderful tribute. The Tentmaker website and your book, Gerry, were instrumental in my recovery from a Calvinism-induced depression four years ago. They started me on a beautiful journey of hope. Thank you so much for making the good news available for free online. It is good to have a little more insight into Michelle and Gary’s lives. They have been a blessing to many including me.

I appreciate all of your hard work to help us understand more clearly God’s plan of salvation for all and your love and commitment to this arduous task. God’s continued blessings on you as you learn and seek to explain more clearly God’s nature and His love for humanity for all. Your work in this endeavor is GREATLY needed and it has helped alleviate unnecessary torment in many and has restored our hope that God REALLY will not leave one sheep unaccounted for and His plan is perfect. This is in the heart of most Christians as many of our songs that we sing on Sunday across the world speak to this Hope that “every knee will bow…”. A BIG THANK YOU!

  14. I discovered the JMNT a few months ago, and even more recently the “Eonian Life New Testament” translated by Christopher Sparkes. It has been as much of a joy to read as the JMNT. http://eonianlifebible.com/index.htm

    I hadn’t heard of the D.B. Hart translation, but will check into that next.

    The idea of universal salvation has great appeal to me, and as a former Jehovah’s Witness, I know that there is a widely believed myth about hell, and am not tripped up by that belief.

    However, there are a couple of scriptures that interfere with totally buying into “universal salvation”. Perhaps you can provide me with a clearer understanding.

    “But who are you, a mere man, to talk back to God? Will what is formed say to the one who formed it, “Why did you make me like this?” Or has the potter no right over the clay, to make from the same lump one piece of pottery for honor and another for dishonor? And what if God, desiring to display His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much patience objects of wrath ready for destruction? And what if He did this to make known the riches of His glory on objects of mercy that He prepared beforehand for glory–” Rom 9:20-23 HCSB

    What does Paul mean by “one piece of pottery for honor and another for dishonor?” Additionally, we have

    “But the cowards, unbelievers, vile, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars–their share will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
    Rev 21:8 HCSB

    As Rev 20:10 points out, the lake of fire represents the final destruction (not torment) of the devil, beast, and false prophet. Why would it not also represent the final destruction of all those listed in Rev 21:8. It’s tempting to assume that that is actually their ungodly spirit that is destroyed, but that isn’t what it says. And there is no indication that there is a resurrection from the lake of fire.
