Thank you for thinking about sharing your testimonial or story of faith on our Sunday Zoom fellowship.
A Testimonial is simply sharing your story—how you came to embrace Hope for all and how it has impacted your life. Here’s some questions to think about to help empower your story and help you quickly put your story together:
* How did you come to believe in the Victorious Gospel?
* How has it blessed and changed our life?
* How has it affected your relationships: with your spouse, children, parents, other relatives, close friends, church contacts, co-workers, employers, etc?
* What good has it brought you and those you deeply care about?
* What are the main parts of your story? It might help to jot them down.
* What parts are the most interesting? You should highlight those.
* What Scriptures or other thoughts and reasoning helped convince you? Plan to quote or read them, at least the most pertinent if there’s many.
* Did your conscience or still small voice, deep down in your heart, leave you feeling like the endless hell doctrine was very wrong and unjust?
* What was your Christian life like before you discovered God’s unfailing love for all?
* How would you describe your fear of death? Did you suffer deep fear, agony of heart, anguish, despair, terror, etc. What term or terms would you use to best describe it?
* Were you in deep fear for the eternal destiny of your loved ones?
* How did belief in an endless hell affect your faith in Jesus? Did it cause you to doubt if He was truly Divine?
Most importantly: don’t worry! Trust God to touch your hearers. After all, it’s His story in you!
